Rafa Mir was accuse of sexual assault and was detain by police for two nights before being release on bail to fight the case, where he maintain his innocence. It was report that Jose Luis Garcia Baya Pepelu, the midfielder of the Los Blancos team, told the media that such behavior was not acceptable, but Baraja, the head coach of the Los Blancos team, confirmed that the team still supports the 27-year-old striker.

‘It’s important to explain things, our fans need to know what happened and what we are going to do. There were two stages when Rafa’s incident happen and the club needs to assess the decisions that need to be made.’

‘It was a decision of the club that I shouldn’t have been involve in because my job is in the sport. The club decided to let him come back and that’s where I come in. I have to assess the consequences of this situation.’

‘It was decide that he would sit out two games, train separately this week, and then he would join the team again next week. Then he would be just a member of the team and I would decide whether he would play or not.’

‘It’s hard to make a fair decision that everyone might like. You have to do everything with common sense. He apologized to the team, understood his actions were inappropriate and accepted the punishment.’

‘As a coach, I have decide that there are consequences for undiscipline behavior, and that this should make us understand that people can make mistakes and not do things well one day and should be give a second chance.’

Asked about Pepelu’s comments about Rafa’s behavior, the Valencia boss said: ‘It’s simple. Pepelu is a powerful voice in the dressing room. I support his comments 100 per cent.’

‘But there were some things that couldn’t be done. It wasn’t because the team didn’t start well, but because we had the badge on our chest and couldn’t do something. The dressing room knew he was a player that we probably Promotion Ufabet needed this season. On this path, I’m very disappoint.’

‘I have to admit that this summer (I brought him in) and I believe Rafa (Mir) can be a game-changer. Rafa has disappointed me a lot but I’ve told him that this will show him where he is and what he has to do, at least while I’m here.’
